Buddies in My Belly: Teaching Kids About the Microbiome with Fun and Success
As a mom and nutritionist, I wanted a way to explain the concept of the microbiome to my young daughter and anyone without a science or health background.
Buddies in my Belly, starring Lacti, Biffy, Strepi, and Ba-Silly, was born in my living room one night. I self-published the book and quickly had 50+ 5-star Reviews on Amazon without marketing.
Kids, Parents, Teachers, and Pediatricians loved the Buddies. We created healthy living tools: a food chart, snack sheet, Buddies Food Plate, and coloring sheets and decided to take it a step further.
